AST SpaceMobile is down almost 70% from its May high of 133.86 and closed Friday at 40.97. The October breakdown below 55 took it to 36.72, close to the September 2025 low of 36.08, and the stock has spent the past week trying to base. Momentum has started to turn, but price is still under all three EMAs.
Daily Chart
ASTS daily chart, 30 October 2026 close — 21/50/200 EMA, RSI(14) with its moving average, MACD(12,26,9), and the rising trendline from the January low, broken in July. Price is now basing in the high 30s and low 40s.
Trend and Structure
The trend has been down since the 28 May spike to 133.86. The rising trendline from the start of the year broke in July, a summer base around 55–57 held through September, and then October broke it: price fell from 64.75 on 6 October to 36.72 on 23 October, with 54.3 million shares on 9 October alone. Since then the stock has held 36.72 and bounced as high as 44.85. The EMAs are stacked bearishly — 21 (46.05) under 50 (53.46) under 200 (66.79) — and price is below all three.
Key Levels
The level that matters most is 36–37: the 23 October low (36.72) and the 9 September 2025 low (36.08). Overhead, the 21 EMA and 38.2% retracement at 46–47 are the first real test.
| Type | Level | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| EMA 200 | 66.79 | Long-term trend |
| Resistance | 64.75 | 6 October high, start of the October fall |
| Resistance | 55.70 | 1 September low, the broken summer floor |
| EMA 50 | 53.46 | Medium-term trend |
| Fib 50% | 50.74 | Half-way back on the October fall |
| Fib 38.2% | 47.43 | First meaningful retracement |
| EMA 21 | 46.05 | Short-term trend |
| Resistance | 44.85 | 29 October high, top of last week's bounce |
| Current | 40.97 | Last close |
| Support | 39.21 | Friday's low |
| Support | 36.72 | 23 October low |
| Support | 36.08 | 9 September 2025 low |
| Fib 127.2% | 29.10 | Extension of the October fall if 36 breaks |
Fibonacci levels are drawn from the 6 October high at 64.75 to the 23 October low at 36.72.
Momentum and Volume
RSI(14) is at 35.98, back above its own average of 32.33 after dipping below 30 — an early sign selling is easing. MACD is at -4.63 against a signal line of -4.91, a histogram of +0.27: a bullish crossover, but well below zero. Friday's 13.7 million shares was below the 20-day average of 17.8 million, so the 4.9% drop came on lighter selling than the October breakdown.
Bull Case
The 36–37 double floor holds and price closes above the 38.2% level at 47.43, clearing the 21 EMA. That would open the 50 EMA at 53.46 and the broken summer floor at 55.70.
Bear Case
A daily close below 36.08 takes out both the October low and the September 2025 low, leaving little support on the chart. The 127.2% extension of the October fall at 29.10 is the next measured target.
Trade Scenarios

| Short | Daily close below 36.08 | 43.00 | 29.10 |
