Thanks for the replies. I have been using Sharescope for years and always assumed that their data is accurate. I will contact them and let you know what they say, but it will have to be tonight.

Thank you Remo! I had asked Updata for a fix as it had appeared on a number of charts. Anyway the solution is to right click and select Price Editor, right click on the date that's dodgy and "remove data point". If you then download history it seems to fix it.
Thanks again,
M.

I guess old age is finally taking the toll on me. very forgetful.

Rab
You had me worried there for a minute. sharescope are normally ok from what i hear. Its best to query them.It depends on who they get there data from.
hi monkeys
i had the same problem with updata when i was with them. Im sure there was a solution to that problem.I cant remember what caused it but maybe someone else maybe able to help with that. Its gonna bug me now...dohhhh
I think its got some thing to do with deleting the actual date where the error came from and refreshing it afterwards. I used to do that a lot to make certain the data were correct. ..ohhh its bugging me ...

Please ignore the spike on the 31st December. It's an issue I have had with a few charts in Updata. They remove the spike when you query, just a shame you have to query in the first place!

Seems to agree with the prices Remo is showing and iii.

I've just had a look at this in Sharescope and noticed that the candlesticks are different, which was fairly obvious because the hammer on the 25th is not there. I had a look at the Java chart on III and that has slightly different candlesticks again, though they are closer to Remo's chart. I find this very worrying, particularly for a service that I pay for. How can the data be so different? And how can we trade on data that we can't rely on?
I have exported the actual OHLC prices from Sharescope and they have the low price as 308 on the 25th, which is why there is no hammer. On III the low price is about 302. Can anyone offer any other figures from other tools, and if Sharescope are the odd ones out I will challenge them about their data and see what they say.
