WEDNESDAY 10 JUNE 2026
Data: Close 10 Jun 2026 | US30: 49,918.78 | Change: -953.33 (-1.87%) | Range: ~49,870 - 50,470 (intraday, est.)

MARKET OVERVIEW

A heavy risk-off session. The Dow dropped 953 points (-1.87%) to 49,918.78, losing the 50,000 handle for the first time since reclaiming it in late May. Two drivers did the damage: a sharp escalation in the US-Iran conflict (Iran's Revolutionary Guard struck US targets in Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait after the US launched fresh attacks), and a hot May CPI print — +0.5% m/m, taking annual inflation to 4.2%, the highest since April 2023. Oil traded near $90 WTI (Brent near $97) with Exxon warning of "really, really low" inventory levels, and Rystad flagging $150 oil if the conflict drags on. The VIX surged ~12% to 19.87. Rotation was textbook risk-off: energy and defensives (Chevron, Coca-Cola, Verizon) finished green while cyclicals and software led the losses.

Bias: Bearish near-term — corrective phase within a primary uptrend that remains intact above the 50-day average.

TREND & INDICATORS

EMA stack (daily, approx values): Close 49,919 is now below the 20-day average (~50,400) but above the 50-day (~49,200-49,350) and 200-day (~48,000-48,300). Classification: bull-market pullback, not a trend change — yet. The 20-day had held as dynamic support throughout the May rally; today's close beneath it is the first structural crack.

Structure: Lower high confirmed — the index failed at 51,687 on 8 June against the 5 June all-time high of 51,660 (intraday)/51,786 zone, and has now broken the short-term higher-low sequence. Phase: corrective pullback after a 6-week channel-up.

RSI (14): ~47 (derived — was 58.97 on 8 June). Momentum has flipped from upper-neutral to below the 50 line. No oversold signal yet; room to fall before mean-reversion conditions trigger.

MACD (12,26,9): Rolling over above the zero line — bearish signal-line crossover in progress, histogram contracting then flipping negative. Classic "bull trend losing momentum" configuration rather than established downtrend.

Volume/volatility: VIX +12% to 19.87 — approaching the 20 fear threshold but not panic. Confirms genuine distribution rather than a thin-volume shakeout.

Note: exact closing indicator prints were not published at write-up time; EMA/RSI values are derived from 8 June data and flagged approximate.

KEY LEVELS

Resistance:
R1: 50,000 — psychological round number, now overhead resistance (strong)
R2: 50,350 - 50,450 — broken 20-day average + breakdown zone (strong)
R3: 50,872 — 9 June close / swing area (moderate), then 51,660 - 51,786 ATH zone (strong)

Support:
S1: 49,600 - 49,700 — today's low area + classic S1 (moderate)
S2: 49,000 - 49,200 — round number + 50-day average at ~49,174 (strong — the key battleground)
S3: 48,830 — 100-day average (strong)

Classic pivots for Thu 11 Jun (est. from today's H/L/C):
S2 49,486 | S1 49,703 | Pivot 50,086 | R1 50,303 | R2 50,686

DOW COMPONENT HIGHLIGHTS

STRONG
Chevron (CVX) +1.2% — direct beneficiary of oil near $90 WTI; energy the only clear winner from the Middle East escalation.
Coca-Cola (KO) +1.5% and Verizon (VZ) +1.5% — classic defensive bid; staples and telecoms caught the rotation out of cyclicals.

WEAK
Salesforce (CRM) -2.1% — software sold off as AI capex funding concerns spread (Super Micro's $7bn raise followed Alphabet's $85bn stock sale and reports of a Meta offering).
3M (MMM) -2.1% and Honeywell (HON) -1.9% — industrials hit on stagflation risk: hot CPI + war premium in energy input costs.

Component moves from late-session data; final closing prints may differ slightly.

SWING TRADE SETUPS

Setup 1 — Long the 50-day retest (primary)
Trigger: Daily bullish reversal candle (hammer/engulfing) in the 49,000 - 49,350 zone
Entry: 49,300 | Stop: 48,750 (below 100-day) | Target 1: 50,350 (R:R 1.9) | Target 2: 50,850 (R:R 2.8)
Kill condition: Daily close below 48,800 — pullback becomes trend change, stand aside.
With-trend setup: buying a correction in a primary uptrend at the strongest support cluster on the chart. Confluence 4/5.

Setup 2 — Short the failed retest (counter-trend, half size)
Trigger: Rally into 50,300 - 50,450 (broken 20-day) rejected with a bearish daily close
Entry: 50,400 | Stop: 50,900 | Target 1: 49,600 (R:R 1.6) | Target 2: 49,200 (R:R 2.4)
Kill condition: Daily close back above 50,900 — breakdown failed, bulls back in control.

INTRADAY SETUPS (Thursday session)

Setup A — Pivot rejection short
Price rallies to 50,050 - 50,150 (round number + est. daily pivot 50,086) and stalls. Entry: 50,050 | Stop: 50,260 | Target 1: 49,710 (S1, R:R 1.6) | Target 2: 49,500 (S2, R:R 2.6). Kill: 15m close above 50,300. Flat before PPI at 13:30 UK.

Setup B — S1 bounce long
Rejection wick at 49,650 - 49,720 with momentum divergence on 15m. Entry: 49,720 | Stop: 49,510 | Target 1: 50,080 (pivot, R:R 1.7) | Target 2: 50,300 (R:R 2.8). Kill: 15m close below 49,550.

Headline risk is extreme — any overnight Iran escalation invalidates intraday levels at the open. Size down.

EVENTS

Thu 11 Jun: May PPI + weekly jobless claims, 13:30 UK — the key follow-up to today's hot CPI; a hot PPI print pressures the market further
Fri 12 Jun: University of Michigan consumer sentiment (prelim June), 15:00 UK — inflation expectations component in focus
Tue-Wed 16-17 Jun: FOMC meeting with Summary of Economic Projections / dot plot; statement Wed 19:00 UK, Powell presser 19:30 UK. Fed is in blackout — no speakers this week
Geopolitical: US-Iran strikes ongoing; Strait of Hormuz and $150-oil scenarios are the tail risks. Expect gaps.

US30 (Dow Jones) — Daily Technical Analysis & Setups · Tuesday 9 June 2026
Data: Close 9 Jun 2026 | US30: 50,872.11 | Change: +86.10 (+0.17%) | Range: ~50,380 – 51,091

MARKET OVERVIEW

A violent two-way session that ended with the Dow as the only major index in the green. The morning was all AI — chips rallied for a second straight day (Micron +4%, Nvidia and Broadcom higher) and the Dow ran to ~51,091 (+0.6%) before lunch. Then the tape flipped: Trump said Iran shot down a US Apache over the Strait of Hormuz and that the US "must, of necessity, respond" — the Nasdaq dumped over 3% and the S&P over 2% at the lows, with the Dow off ~0.8% at its worst near 50,380. A steady recovery into the bell left the Dow +86 at 50,872.11, while the S&P closed -0.26% at 7,386.65 and the Nasdaq -0.97% at 25,678.82. Tech and energy were the only red S&P sectors — the value/defensive cohort that dominates the Dow did the heavy lifting. Oil actually retreated (Brent ~$92–93, WTI ~$88–90, both off ~2%+) as the ceasefire technically held, and the VIX closed at a remarkably calm 18.46 given the headline. Underneath it all the rates story persists: the 2-year sits ~4.15% against a 3.50–3.75% Fed band, with markets pricing a possible hike as soon as October after the hot jobs report. Everything now funnels into tomorrow's May CPI at 13:30 UK.

Bias: Neutral — impressively resilient close and a higher low, but price remains capped below the EMA20 and no one is committing ahead of CPI.

TREND & INDICATORS

EMA stack: 20 > 50 > 200 — primary alignment stays bullish. Price (50,872) is still pinned just under the EMA20 (~50,920) for a third session; EMA50 ~50,320, EMA200 ~47,950. Long-term trend up, short-term momentum still neutralised.
Structure: Compressing. Today printed a lower high (51,091 vs the 51,562 record zone) but also a higher low (50,380 vs Friday's washout) — a triangle is forming under the highs, classic pre-CPI coil. The long lower wick on today's candle says the Iran flush was bought aggressively.
RSI(14): ~53 — dead neutral, fully reset from last week's ~68 overbought. No divergence.
MACD: Histogram still flat-to-negative below the signal line; today's recovery stopped the bleed but there's no bullish cross yet. A daily close above ~51,100 is needed to turn it.
Volume: Elevated on the headline spike, with price closing near the top of the day's range — absorption/demand, not distribution.
Phase: Consolidation / coiling, headline-driven. The CPI print is the release valve.

KEY LEVELS

Resistance:
50,920–50,960 — EMA20 cluster, immediate cap (HIGH)
51,091 — today's high / multi-session supply shelf, third rejection this week (HIGH)
51,400 / 51,562 — last week's range high + record supply zone (HIGH), then 52,000 psychological

Support:
50,653–50,670 — Monday's floor / this week's value area low (MED)
50,380–50,470 — today's Iran-headline low, proven buyers (HIGH)
50,300 / 50,000 — EMA50 + major round number, the line in the sand (HIGH)

Classic pivots (off Tue H/L/C, session low approximate): S2 50,070 · S1 50,471 · P 50,781 · R1 51,182 · R2 51,492

DOW COMPONENT HIGHLIGHTS

STRONG
Nvidia (NVDA) +0.7% to ~$210 — second straight day leading the AI complex recovery alongside Micron (+4%) and Broadcom; still the index's momentum engine. The financials held firm as the curve steepens — Goldman Sachs (GS) above $1,050 remains the biggest single point-contributor in the index. The defensive cohort (JNJ, UNH) extended Monday's leadership as rotation flows continued out of expensive software into value — exactly the mix that kept the Dow green while the Nasdaq bled.

WEAK
Apple (AAPL) drifted lower again post-WWDC — the Siri AI reboot at Tim Cook's final keynote as CEO failed to excite, unwinding Monday's pre-event firmness. Chevron (CVX) gave back ground with Brent down ~2% as the ceasefire held. Salesforce (CRM) and IBM remain the rotation's funding source — legacy enterprise software is still being sold to pay for semis. Housekeeping: Travelers (TRV) goes ex-dividend Wednesday ($1.25), Salesforce Thursday ($0.44).

SWING TRADE SETUPS

1) Long the proven demand zone (trend-continuation)
Entry: 50,450 (retest of today's headline low / S1 zone)
Stop: 50,090 (below S2 and the 50,150 shelf)
Target 1: 50,920 (EMA20) · Target 2: 51,400
R:R: ~1.3:1 to T1, ~2.6:1 to T2
Kill: daily close below 50,000.

2) Short the record-zone fade
Entry: 51,420 (rally into last week's range high)
Stop: 51,720 (above the 51,562 record supply)
Target 1: 50,920 · Target 2: 50,470
R:R: ~1.7:1 to T1, ~3.2:1 to T2
Kill: daily close above 51,720.

INTRADAY SETUPS (next session — Wed 10 Jun, CPI 13:30 UK)

A) Post-CPI breakout long — flat into the print, no exceptions. On a soft CPI, buy a 15-min close above R1: entry 51,200, stop 51,050, targets 51,400 then 51,560. R:R ~1.3:1 / ~2.4:1. Kill: 15-min close back below 51,090.

B) Post-CPI flush buy — on a hot print that flushes into S1: entry 50,480, stop 50,330, targets 50,780 (pivot) then 50,920. R:R ~2:1 / ~2.9:1. Kill: 15-min close below 50,380 — if today's low goes on a hot CPI, stand aside; 50,300/50,000 comes into play fast.

EVENTS

Wed 10 Jun, 13:30 UK — US CPI (May): the event of the week. A hot core print cements October-hike pricing (2yr already 4.15%) and likely breaks the coil lower; a cool print is the relief-rally trigger toward 51,400+.
Thu 11 Jun — US PPI (May); SpaceX IPO prices (debut Friday — ~$75bn raise at ~$1.8trn valuation, the largest listing in history; a major risk-appetite barometer).
Tue–Wed 16–17 Jun — FOMC meeting (next week, but positioning starts now).
Geopolitical: the Israel–Iran ceasefire is fragile and Trump's threatened response to the Apache shoot-down is pending — the Strait of Hormuz remains blockaded, so any kinetic headline is an instant risk-off gap. Trade smaller than usual.

US30 (Dow Jones) — Daily Technical Analysis & Setups · Monday 8 June 2026
Data: Close 8 Jun 2026 | US30: 50,786.01 | Change: -80.77 (-0.16%) | Range: ~50,670 – 50,958

MARKET OVERVIEW

A quiet, two-sided consolidation day for the Dow after Friday's 695-point washout. The broad tape actually rebounded — the Nasdaq snapped back +1.6% and the S&P added ~1% as chip names recovered (Nvidia +1.7%, Micron +9%, Marvell +13% on S&P 500 inclusion) after Jensen Huang publicly framed the tech selloff as a buying opportunity. But the Dow is light on high-beta semis and heavy on cyclicals/defensives, so it lagged the rebound and faded a +0.3% intraday print to close fractionally red. Oil stayed firm (Brent ~$94, WTI ~$91) after Iran and Israel exchanged missile strikes over the weekend, the first direct blows since April. The VIX collapsed -15% to 18.21 as Friday's fear unwound. The whole tape is now coiling ahead of Wednesday's CPI — the key swing factor after the hot May jobs report put a 2026 rate hike back on the table.

Bias: Neutral — consolidation inside Friday's range. Long-term uptrend intact, short-term momentum soft, and the index is in wait-and-see mode into CPI.

TREND & INDICATORS

EMA stack: 20 > 50 > 200 — primary alignment stays bullish. Price is still pinned just below the EMA20 (~50,930) for a second session; EMA50 ~50,300, EMA200 ~47,900. Long-term trend up, near-term momentum stalled at the 20.
Structure: Lower-high at 51,562 (Thu) still in place. Today was an inside/indecision day holding above Friday's 50,790 low — neither buyers nor sellers took control.
RSI(14): ~52 — neutral, fully reset from last week's overbought ~68. No divergence either way.
MACD: Line above zero but histogram still rolling over; a bearish daily cross remains the risk if 50,650 gives way.
Volume: Below Friday's distribution spike — light, consolidation-style trade. No conviction in either direction.
Phase: Consolidation / coiling after the reversal leg, awaiting a CPI catalyst.

KEY LEVELS

Resistance:
50,930 — EMA20 + R1 cluster, immediate cap (HIGH)
51,091 — R2 / Friday supply shelf (MED)
51,400 / 51,562 — last week's range high + record lower-high (HIGH)

Support:
50,653 — S1 / today's intraday floor (MED)
50,519 — S2 (HIGH)
50,300 / 50,000 — EMA50 + major round number (HIGH)

Classic pivots (off Mon H/L/C): S2 50,519 · S1 50,653 · P 50,805 · R1 50,939 · R2 51,091

Psychological: 51,000 round number caps; 50,000 is the line in the sand below.

DOW COMPONENT HIGHLIGHTS

STRONG
Nvidia (NVDA) +1.7% to ~$208 — led the Dow's growth cohort on the chip rebound and a multi-year memory-chip deal with SK Hynix. Apple (AAPL) +1.5% firmed into its WWDC event (Tim Cook's last as CEO; an AI-Siri reboot expected). Chevron (CVX) +1.3% rode firmer crude on the Middle East flare-up. Energy and select tech were the bright spots.

WEAK
Salesforce (CRM) -1.26% and Microsoft (MSFT) -1.0% gave back ground as money favoured semis over established software. Walt Disney (DIS) -1.13% lagged on consumer-cyclical softness. The drag was modest — no single-name blow-up, just gentle profit-taking in last quarter's leaders. (Note: Intel's +12% pop on the Google TPU order is broad-market colour — INTC is no longer a Dow component.)

SWING TRADE SETUPS

1) Trend-continuation dip buy (longer-term bias)
Entry: 50,520 (S2 / EMA-support test on a CPI-driven flush)
Stop: 50,150 (below structure + round number buffer)
Target 1: 50,930 · Target 2: 51,400
R:R: ~1.1:1 to T1, ~2.4:1 to T2
Kill: daily close below 50,000.

2) Short the lower-high (short-term bias)
Entry: 51,380 (last week's range high retest / fade)
Stop: 51,720 (above the 51,562 record lower-high)
Target 1: 50,650 (S1) · Target 2: 50,300 (EMA50)
R:R: ~2.1:1 to T1, ~3.2:1 to T2

INTRADAY SETUPS (next session — Tue 9 Jun)

A) Breakout long
Entry: 50,945 (reclaim of EMA20 / R1)
Stop: 50,790
Target 1: 51,091 (R2) · Target 2: 51,250
R:R: ~1.0:1 to T1, ~2.0:1 to T2
Kill: drop back below pivot 50,805.

B) Breakdown short
Entry: 50,640 (loss of S1 / today's floor)
Stop: 50,800
Target 1: 50,519 (S2) · Target 2: 50,380
R:R: ~0.8:1 to T1, ~1.6:1 to T2
Kill: reclaim and hold back above 50,653.

Caveat: with CPI on Wednesday, expect compressed ranges Tue then a volatility expansion. Size down and respect whipsaws around the 8:30am ET print.

EVENTS

Wed 10 Jun · 13:30 BST (08:30 ET) — US May CPI. The week's main event. A hot print revives 2026 rate-hike pricing (the May jobs report already pushed markets to price one in) and pressures equities; a cool print relieves the rate fear and could spark a relief rally.
Wed 10 Jun (after close) — Oracle (ORCL) earnings — an AI-capex bellwether.
Fri 12 Jun — SpaceX IPO expected, set to be the largest public offering on record; a litmus test for risk appetite.
Tue 16–Wed 17 Jun — FOMC decision + Summary of Economic Projections (dot plot). Next week's headline risk.
Ongoing — Iran/Israel strikes keep an oil-price risk premium live; watch crude as a back-door inflation input.

A sharp bearish reversal from Thursday's record 51,562 close. May non-farm payrolls printed +172,000 — roughly double consensus — flipping the tape into a classic "good news is bad news" session: the 10-year yield jumped to 4.54%, rate-cut hopes were trimmed, and rate-sensitive growth names were dumped. A semiconductor slide (Broadcom's outlook disappointed) plus a Meta secondary offering (-7%) hammered tech, dragging the Nasdaq -4.18% and the S&P -2.64%. The Dow held up better thanks to defensive and healthcare strength, but still shed 695 points on heavy, distribution-style volume. The VIX spiked ~34% to finish above 20.

Bias: Bearish (short-term) — medium-term uptrend still intact, but Friday was an outside-down reversal off a record high into next week's CPI/FOMC risk.

TREND & INDICATORS

EMA stack: 20 > 50 > 200 — primary alignment remains bullish. However, price closed back below the EMA20 (~50,950) for the first time in weeks. EMA50 sits ~50,250, EMA200 ~47,800. The long-term trend is up; the short-term momentum has cracked.
Structure: Higher-highs/higher-lows sequence interrupted. Friday engulfed several prior sessions — a near-term lower-high is now in place at 51,562.
RSI(14): ~53, cooling hard from an overbought ~68 earlier in the week. No bullish divergence yet; momentum neutralising.
MACD: Line still above zero but histogram is rolling over — a bearish cross is threatening on the daily.
Volume: Above average — a distribution day, confirming the down move rather than diverging from it.
Phase: Reversal/consolidation after an extended trend leg.

DOW COMPONENT HIGHLIGHTS

STRONG
3M (MMM) +3.7% to $148.62 — standout on a favourable legal-resolution update. Defensives and healthcare cushioned the index as money rotated out of growth: UnitedHealth, Merck, J&J, Coca-Cola and Verizon-type names outperformed on the risk-off, yields-up backdrop.

WEAK
IBM -2.42% to $213.40 on a cautious analyst note; Home Depot -2.14% to $303.85; Sherwin-Williams -1.36%. The bigger drag came from the Dow's tech/growth cohort (Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple, Salesforce, Amazon) as the semiconductor selloff and the jump in yields pressured high-multiple names.

Thursday 4 June 2026 — US30 (Dow Jones) Daily Technical Analysis
Data: Close 4 Jun 2026 | US30: 51,561.93 | Change: +874.86 (+1.73%) | Range (est): 50,690 – 51,575 | VIX: 16.06

MARKET OVERVIEW

The Dow ripped to a fresh record close of 51,561.93, adding 874.86 points (+1.73%) in one of the strongest sessions of the year. The move was driven by a violent rotation OUT of mega-cap tech and AI/semis and INTO non-tech blue chips. A sharp Broadcom-led sell-off in the chip space pushed money toward healthcare, financials and defensives — UnitedHealth led the index up more than 5%, JPMorgan added ~3% and Walmart closed up around 1%. The split tape was stark: the Dow printed a record while the Nasdaq slipped 0.09% to 26,830.96 and the S&P 500 rose a comparatively muted 0.41% to 7,584.31.

With VIX sitting at just 16.06, the options market is pricing complacency — notable given a high-impact catalyst lands tomorrow (US Non-Farm Payrolls, pre-open). Strong trend, low fear, but elevated event risk into Friday.

Bias: Bullish (trend intact at record highs — but extended and event-exposed)

TREND & INDICATORS

EMA stack (daily): Fully bullish alignment — price > EMA20 (~50,400) > EMA50 (~49,500) > EMA200 (~45,500). Price is trading roughly 2.3% above the EMA20 after today's surge, so the "rubber band" is stretched to the upside.

Market structure: Clean higher highs / higher lows. Today's record close confirms continuation of the primary uptrend — no structural damage anywhere on the daily.

Phase: Trending / breakout to new all-time highs.

RSI (14, daily ~68): Strong bullish momentum, now pressing toward the overbought 70 line after a +1.73% day. No bearish divergence yet, but momentum is mature — chasing strength here carries pullback risk.

MACD (daily): Above signal and above the zero line, histogram expanding — momentum is positive and accelerating.

Internals: Breadth firmly positive (8 of 11 S&P sectors higher; Health Care, Financials, Real Estate led). The tape is broadening AWAY from the narrow AI leadership of recent months — healthy for the Dow specifically, even as the Nasdaq lagged.

KEY LEVELS

Resistance
R1 — 51,861 (classic R1 / pivot projection) — moderate
R2 — 52,000 (psychological round number) — strong
R3 — 52,161 (classic R2) — moderate

Support
S1 — 51,000 (round number / breakout shelf) — moderate
S2 — 50,976 (classic S1) — moderate
S3 — 50,690 (today's est. low / prior close & breakout pivot) — strong

Classic pivots (for next session):
S2 50,391 | S1 50,976 | P 51,276 | R1 51,861 | R2 52,161

Round-number magnets: 51,500 (just below), 52,000 (next target), 50,000 (major floor).

DOW COMPONENT HIGHLIGHTS

STRONG
UnitedHealth (UNH) — index leader, +5%+; healthcare bid as money rotated out of tech. Momentum leader of the day.
JPMorgan (JPM) — +~3%; financials strong on the rotation and steeper-curve narrative.
Walmart (WMT) — +~1%; defensive consumer staple catching the rotation flow.

WEAK
Tech / AI-linked Dow names — the laggards on the day as the Broadcom-led semi sell-off dragged AI-exposed components and capped the Nasdaq. Any chip-tied Dow constituent underperformed the index.

Note: with the Nasdaq red and the Dow at records, today was a textbook value-over-growth rotation day — favour the Dow's cyclical/defensive leadership over tech into any continuation.

SWING TRADE SETUPS

Setup 1 — Buy-the-dip continuation (preferred)
Don't chase the record close. Wait for a pullback into the breakout shelf.
  • Entry: 50,950 – 51,050 (retest of S1/round-number zone)
  • Stop: 50,450 (below the pivot cluster / today's est. low structure)
  • Target 1: 52,000 (+~1.9% / ~1.9R)
  • Target 2: 52,161 (R2)
  • R:R: ~1:1.9 to T1
  • Kill condition: daily close back below 50,390 (S2) — breakout failed.

Setup 2 — Breakout extension (aggressive, half size)
  • Trigger: sustained move above 51,861 (R1) post-NFP
  • Entry: 51,870+
  • Stop: 51,250 (below pivot)
  • Target: 52,500
  • R:R: ~1:1
  • Kill condition: rejection wick back under 51,500. Half size — RSI extended into NFP.

INTRADAY SETUPS (next session)

Friday's session is dominated by Non-Farm Payrolls (13:30 UK / 08:30 ET, pre-open). Treat the cash open as event-driven — let the first move resolve before committing.

Pre-NFP range play: expect chop between pivot 51,276 and R1 51,861. Fade the extremes only with tight stops.
Camarilla guide: R4 ~52,049 / R3 ~51,805 / S3 ~51,319 / S4 ~51,075.
  • Bullish trend-day trigger: strong NFP reaction holding above 51,861 → target 52,049 (Cam R4) then 52,161.
  • Bearish fade trigger: rejection at 51,805–51,861 with weak data → short toward pivot 51,276, stop above 51,950.
  • Downside break: loss of 51,075 (Cam S4) signals a trend-down day → target 50,976 then 50,690.

EVENTS
  • Fri 5 Jun — US Non-Farm Payrolls (May), 13:30 UK / 08:30 ET, pre-open. The week's marquee catalyst. Cooling wage growth would reinforce rate-cut hopes; a hot print risks a yield-led pullback in this extended tape.
  • Sat 6 Jun — FOMC begins under new Chair Kevin Warsh (first meeting). Leadership transition adds a layer of policy uncertainty; markets will parse the jobs data through the lens of the incoming Chair's stance.
  • Macro backdrop: ongoing US–Iran tensions and oil-price swings remain a tail risk for sentiment; VIX at 16 leaves little cushion if headlines turn.
