My opinion on this has changed. Although sterling has settled in the 1.21/1.22 area, there is a danger of slippage / traders forcing it lower in the short term. UKX high base is also under threat.

Chart points at 800 minimum short term as we head for the apex of falling wedge with a gap and trendline forming strong resistance above. We might then see a bounce into year-end before more instability 1st Qtr 2017. Patience is the key here. We will certainly see 741.50 support before article 50 IMO. Best to wait.

I'd say that this has probably seen the short term lows with Stg, subject to a further general market sell-off. Nice gap close and bounce from it.

Bounced of that support trend channel line perfectly.
I think has some way to go before it bottoms out.

It could even break below the trend channel for a quick move lower, or bounce along the lower trendline.
I think it could go as low 500p area, but between 500p and 650p could be a area where this turns.
If it goes to that area, we will look more closely for signs of a bottom.
For now only a move and close back above the 20 and 50 day ema line, would cancel the bear view imvho.

When it does finally bottom it would be a nice stock to buy for the longer term.

i think a further move down cannot be ruled out yet, so any longs need tight stops just below 973p imvho.
