All Depends on your risk profile...my view is under 40 very high risk, 40-50 high risk 50-55 med risk but once over 55 low risk spread over a number of high quality dividend 4-6% paying stocks....I'm with Hargreeves for share dealing and they come highly recommended for pensions etc
..but nobody will answer your question until you quantify what you want and what your prepared to risk in order to achive that....as I said I'm only a young dude, but when I'm an "old codja" (couldn't help that one) then my view would be income stocks and maybe a 5% punt fuund for fun and games....best of luck and enjoy your retirement
