The site has been working well all day today.
The problem i spoke about earlier is still there thou. I think ive managed to by pass the error until the previous hosting company can sought this out :woohoo: :woohoo: .The only problem may come with emails not getting through straight away.
Apparently its not there fault but the registers.
Hopefully this site will still work .
There offices should be open tomorrow so i will moan at them first thing ;)
Hopefully the hardest part is behind me.
Have anyone noticed the speed difference????? It should be evident ;) ;) ;)

I spoke to soon
Theres a simple error that causes the site to appear back and forward between both my servers. You may have noticed the site being down message , Then latter on the site works.
and back ward and forward between both of them.
I know the reason for this but the problem lies with my previous server company who accidentally misconfigured the ns1,ns2 files with 2 different ip addresses.Hense why the site goes off then on.
The problem ive got now is i cant manually change the ns1 and ns2 files as theres an error in the company website. Typical ...i can only chat to them between monday-friday so the only way i can get them to look at this is via a ticket system and hopefully some staff maybe able to deal with this over the weekend.
Its a minor problem which should only take secs to resolve but getting some one to do the change is difficult     when theres no staff around...If only i could change this myself.
anyway. please bear with us.
maybe some one done it already :P
speak to you soon

;) every thing seems to be working ok...
There still could be some minor problems for about 48 hours due to the migration time.
If you have any problems please clear your cache first as this is a new server so things may not load up properly until you have cleared your cache.

other than that every thing seems to be working faster.
This is now on a dedicated server so all the resources of the server is used on chartsview alone.
hopefully its worth the price paid ;) ;)

We're gonna switch over to the new server on Friday after the ftse closes.
The site could be down for 48 hours as I'm transferring the name servers to my new dedicated server. This whole process can take upto 48 hours.Hopefully it will be sooner.
This will be the last time were moving hopefully as now the site will be on a dedicated server so all the resources of the server will only be for this site. :cheer: This means that the site should be faster and more reliable(hopefully). We will still be looking to make the site even faster as our previous web developers did not code the site properly so that's my next project to hire another developer to rewrite some of the code to speed the site up.
We're also gonna have to get the SEO done on the site so if anyone knows of a good company please let us know. :cheer:
All the above things does not effect the general use of the site so don't worry .
Were always looking to improve chartsview :P so hopefully you guys will notice the difference.
