But I did try to edit the post in the Lloyds thread straight away and it wouldnt let me

That feature has been disabled. You can however edit your post as long as its done within 30 mins of posting
The reason ive disabled this function is people can lie about what they said before.So this way people cant lie about there technical.The idea being that we are all human and will make mistakes and its for every one to see.

Do you think it would be possible to change the site to allow poster's to edit there own posts? I can be a bit careless at times and find error's in my posts after I have posted it. It would be a great feature if we could go back in and edit it.

If it can't be done or not something you'd want to do then that's cool. Just thought I'd mention it
