Hi diver993,

No worries mate, this is what they mean:

Piece of Paper - Default icon unless another icon has been selected by the topic owner or a forum moderator.

Exclamation mark - Indicates that the topic is important (e.g. an official announcement to the community or the presence of a major problem that affects a service or product).

Question mark - Indicates that the topic is a question to the community.

Light bulb - An idea, suggestion or request for a new feature.

Heart - This can mean whatever you like it to mean. It is usually interpreted to be a "gift" from the topic creator to the rest of the community. It could, for example, represent gratitude or admiration for the work of others in the community.

Paper with arrows - Indicates that the topic was created by merging it with other topics on the forum. This is often used to show that other forum users have similar issues but that the forum moderator considered that it would be more appropriate to discuss these several issues in the same topic.

Cross - Usually means that the question or problem discussed in the topic was not able to be resolved and that the subject is closed.

Tick - Usually means that the question or problem discussed in the topic was resolved to the satisfaction of the topic owner and that the subject is closed.

I'll put this in the forum FAQ's in the About us tab for future reference.

Hope this helps,

Ronnie
