Can't do any thing right now...just posting via the iPad... It seems our whole area is effected so hopefully they will fix this soon.
It's amazing how much we rely on the broadband.
Thankfully I've got mobile Internet ...a bit slow but at least I can post crap :cheer:

Damn it!

You might consider the suggestion offered if viable of course Remo.

Your input is too important for us to be off-line! So hurry back - we need your take on Gold!

OK, enough ass-kissing now!

Grrr!! Got home yesterday pm to find no broadband yet again!! It appears there is a reoccurring error somewhere in, or under, the road. They are now monitoring the line for 24 hours - which probably means someone is gazing into their crystal ball trying to work out what to do about it! Then of course its the weekend, so I guess there's little chance of being reconnected before next week!!
There's no cable where we live and the mobile signal is cRaP so I've driven in to the office to see how my trade on GKP is doing. Like Remo, I reckon 202/3 is good support so I've taken a bit of a gamble but with a tight stop, just in case.
Have a good weekend folks and hopefully next week I'll be reconnected :)

Amazing isn't it how it has transformed the way most people do things - scary! :P

I found myself in a similar situation to yourself recently Diver, with Vermin (yes, vermin) Media messing up their cables and this forced me to create a back up solution:

If one Broadband was delivered using cable, the other should be via the phone line. A third option is through mobile internet / tethering or Wifi.

The above solution isn't cost effective (it can be if you trade mind!), and it depends on your location, but I find that it works.

Glad you're back in any case!
