we are currently on the 7th series, and the 8th and supposedly final series is starting in July, both in the USA and over here simultaneously, can't wait .....will Deb turn him in?

Not a fan of 24 personally, but I hear that it is good fun.

In my humble view the American TV producers have really stepped up. They have always done good comedy, but nothing serious in the way of drama that would ooze quality since "Murder One". But with HBO on the scene, things got better and better (for example, The Sopranos and that gritty prison drama, OZ).

I heard there are other shows like The Wire, Dexter, Broadwalk Empire, et al that are meant to be good.

For my money (and this is CV so money comes into it ), I think that Breaking Bad (outrageously good), Newsroom (if you like current affairs), and House of Cards (which can't touch the british version, but commendable non-the-less!) are a class apart.

Only seen 2 Banshee's so far and its ok. Nothing special but I'm going to give it a chance.

I missed out Broadwalk Empire. Abit slow but great entertainment and again based on real life events.

So much to watch and so little time !

Smallville....it's complete now and finished at season 10....it's supermans early years....
