Crash reports

A US safety order makes Tesla report every crash its driverless robotaxis are involved in, even minor bumps and crashes caused by other drivers. The US road safety regulator (NHTSA) publishes the reports each month, about a month behind.

The ADS was stopped at the exit of a parking lot with the right turn signal activated. The ADS proceeded with its right turn to follow the navigation route and made contact with a low-hanging metal chain at approximately 2MPH that was blocking the exit.     Tesla, Inc. (Tesla) is recalling certain 2026 Model Y vehicles. One or more front suspension lateral link fasteners may not have been properly tightened, allowing the lateral link to loosen or separate from the sub-frame.
