Tesla Robotaxi Tracker: Every City, Every Mile, Updated Daily

Tesla robotaxi tracker: every city, every mile, updated daily

Tesla now runs driverless robotaxi rides in seven cities, and the list is growing month by month. Our free Tesla robotaxi tracker follows every city, how many miles the cars have driven, how many robotaxis are registered, and what Tesla has promised next. This post explains what it shows and how to read it.

Where Tesla robotaxis run today

As of early November 2026, rides with nobody in the driver’s seat are running in Austin, Dallas, Houston and Fort Worth in Texas, and Miami, Orlando and Tampa in Florida. Fort Worth opened to the public on 2 November 2026. Austin, the first city, has passed 2.1 million robotaxi miles; Dallas is next on about 608,000.

The San Francisco Bay Area is different: California has not given Tesla a driverless permit, so a person sits in the driver’s seat and it runs as a chauffeur service. We list it, but we do not count it as driverless.

What is coming next

Las Vegas is approved for up to 5,000 cars in its first year but is not carrying riders yet. Phoenix and San Antonio are on Tesla’s own “coming soon” list from its October 2026 safety report. The tracker shows each one as “coming” until the first public ride, and then flips it to “driverless” with the start date.

The numbers we track

  • Robotaxi miles by city, from Tesla’s reports and the state records that publish them.
  • Robotaxis registered in Texas: 1,244 at the last count, split between Model Y and the new Cybercab.
  • Cities: how many are driverless, how many still use a safety driver, and how many are promised.
  • Safety: crashes reported to the US regulator, on a separate section of the page.

Every figure has its source next to it, so you can check it yourself. The page is updated every morning from Tesla’s filings, state records and the news, so it is always the current picture rather than a snapshot.

Why it matters for the share price

Much of Tesla’s valuation rests on robotaxis and the Cybercab, not on car sales. The questions that move the shares are simple: how many cities, how many cars, how many miles, and how fast is each number growing? The tracker answers those four questions on one page, next to Tesla’s quarterly results, its factory build-out and directors’ share deals.
