See also: Marvell company tracker

Marvell lost 22% in two sessions: 13.2% on Thursday and another 10% on Friday, from 251.65 to 196.40, on almost twice its usual volume each day. Friday's low at 190.15 dipped below the 200 EMA before price closed just above it. The 190–195 band is now the line between a deep pullback and a broken trend.

MRVL daily chart, 30 October 2026 close — 21/50/200 EMA, RSI(14) with its moving average, and MACD(12,26,9). Two big down days took price from above the 21 and 50 EMAs to the 200 EMA.

Trend and Structure

Marvell rose from about 70 in February to 329.88 on 18 June, then swung hard: down to 162.90 on 29 July, back up to 301.27 on 6 October. Last week's rebound reached 253.66 on Wednesday before Thursday and Friday wiped it out. Price is now well below the 21 EMA (239.62) and 50 EMA (240.19) and resting on the 200 EMA (195.09), which has not been tested since the early-summer run began.

Key Levels

The level that matters most is 190–195: Friday's low (190.15), the 78.6% retracement (192.51) and the 200 EMA (195.09). Overhead, the 61.8% level at 215.76 is the first real resistance.

Fibonacci levels are drawn from the 29 July low at 162.90 to the 6 October high at 301.27.

Momentum and Volume

RSI(14) is at 33.96, near oversold and well below its own average of 43.83. MACD is at -7.92 against a signal line of -3.06, a histogram of -4.86, falling fast below zero. Volume was heavy: 42.0 million shares on Thursday and 43.2 million on Friday, against a 20-day average of about 23 million.

Bull Case

The 190–195 band holds, as the 200 EMA often does in a strong long-term trend, and price closes back above the 61.8% level at 215.76. That would open the EMAs near 240, with last week's high at 253.66 above.

Bear Case

A daily close below Friday's 190.15 low breaks the 200 EMA and the 78.6% level. That opens the 3 August low at 177.57, then the 29 July low at 162.90.
