Arista fell 8.3% on Friday to 168.86, closing just under the 200 EMA for the first time since spring. Last week's bounce stalled at 191.11, right under the 21 and 50 EMAs, and Friday's low at 166.86 was a new low for the October slide. The 166–170 band is the line; below it the July lows near 157 are next.
Daily Chart
ANET daily chart, 30 October 2026 close — 21/50/200 EMA, RSI(14) with its moving average, and MACD(12,26,9). Friday's close sits right on the 200 EMA and the 78.6% retracement of the summer rally.
Trend and Structure
Arista climbed from 156.84 on 29 July to 217.41 on 9 October, its 2026 high. The fall since has been sharp: 171.07 on 22 October, a bounce to 191.11 on 28 October that failed under the EMAs, and then Friday's drop to 166.86. That is a lower high and a lower low. The 21 EMA (187.63) has crossed under the 50 EMA (190.69), and price is now testing the 200 EMA (169.95), which has held as support since April.
Key Levels
The level that matters most is the 166–170 band: Friday's low (166.86), the 78.6% retracement (169.80) and the 200 EMA (169.95). Overhead, the 61.8% level at 179.98 is the first test.

Fibonacci levels are drawn from the 29 July low at 156.84 to the 9 October high at 217.41.
Momentum and Volume
RSI(14) is at 35.68, below its own average of 39.41 and close to oversold. MACD is at -6.18 against a signal line of -4.71, a histogram of -1.47, below zero after last week's attempt to turn up faded. Friday's 8.3 million shares was about 40% above the 20-day average of 6.0 million, matching the volume on the 22 October drop.
Bull Case
The 200 EMA holds as it has since April, and price gets back above the 61.8% level at 179.98. A daily close above last week's 191.11 high would clear both short-term EMAs and open the 25 September high at 212.00, then 217.41.
Bear Case
A daily close below Friday's 166.86 low would confirm a break of the 200 EMA. That opens the 29 July low at 156.84, and below that the 9 June low at 145.32.
