once you open Eikon
look at the top tabs.
you will see a add icon with a down arrow next to this.
click on the arrow
then flex document
If you then click on UK& Irland it brings up a template thats pre done for UK.
Just work through all the different templates on there.
You are gonna love it

The way to get all the list of tickers is through Eikon
Copy all the tickers from there,
then paste it into excel,
then copy from excel into metastock.you have to click on power console then manage custom list then new.This is where you paste it into. so call it what ever you want. You have to paste it with
Control + V into here. Make certain you highlight the boxes individually before copying.

Ill put some videos up when i get a chance.

im getting the hang of it now after fighting with it all night long and all day long.
The problem with the metastock 12 is they have changed all the tickers.
Hence the problem. They have made it one code ...so basically to match reuters.

Have you played around with Eikon?????
Its awesome.
Only problem im having with this is the interactive map. I cant find it.

Can I please have pre-done templates once they do for you?
I am in progress of looking for LSE symbols, have you got symbols list for any of those ready ?
I can't find gold, any currencies, dow, ftse100 etc?

I have been playing around with the new Reuters Eikon for a few hours now.
Its very comprehensive. Ill put a video up tomorrow when i get a chance.
Im well impressed with this. This is worth the money in my honest opinion.

Ive also updated to metastock 12.....
Big mistake as i think its more complex than before. Not a fan of this part . Im gonna have to get a lot of pre done index codes . They have done it so that you can get any share in the whole wide world.
It may seem like a great idea but then you have to find it. Ive only managed to find the ftse 100 so far and i have been looking for a few hours.

Im gonna have to get them to do a lot of pre-done templates to make it easier.

When they allow me i will load the video that shows the full power of Eikon.
Thats the only way you will understand why im bigging this up.
