Gulf Keystone, a leading independent operator and producer in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, is pleased to announce that the Board has approved the declaration of a special dividend of $50 million.

Jon Harris, Gulf Keystone's Chief Executive Officer, said:

"Following payment of $115 million of dividends year to date, we are delighted to declare today a special dividend of $50 million, consistent with our strategic commitment to balance investment in growth with shareholder distributions. The declaration brings total dividends for shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM to $75 million and increases total dividends declared in 2022 to $190 million. Assuming timely payment of invoices and strong oil prices, we expect continuing strong cash flow generation in 2022, providing flexibility to consider further shareholder distributions, optimisation of the capital structure and a potential increase in capital expenditure with progress on the FDP."

Gulf Keystone will be seeking shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") on 24 June 2022 to pay total dividends of $75 million, comprising the previously declared $25 million annual ordinary dividend and the $50 million special dividend declared today.

The annual ordinary dividend of $25 million is expected to be paid on 15 July 2022, based on a record date of 1 July 2022. The special dividend of $50 million is expected to be paid on 29 July 2022, based on a record date of 15 July 2022.

Both dividends will be payable in pounds sterling and converted from dollars at the spot rate leading up to the relevant record dates. The Company will disclose the US dollar and pounds sterling rate per share for both dividends prior to their ex-dividend dates.

Paitech,

GKP went from 2009 to 200p+ then it got killed by the Bondholders and there was a 100 for 1.
So if you held from 2009 it would not be worth very much.
I presume you went to cash and then got back in after the crash.

My target would be around 300 as loads of resistance there.
My average price…..I’ve been in and out of this since 180, but since the divi is so good have decided to just hold now.
I have a large holding in this due to divi and its by far my biggest holding.
I don’t plan on selling this unless something major happens . this is the only share in my portfolio that’s done well.
fundamentals on GKP are great currently , it has no dept, and all they seem to do recently is give the money back to share holders…which I like..lol..The main risk being its in Iraq … that’s as much of fundamentals I know on this…..lol
I’m sure others on here will know a great deal about this..
As long as crude stays above 100$ its win win I suspect.

This is my biggest holding by far . Divi being paid out tomorrow so I suspect people will reinvest it back into company again as divi is crazy currently.
I think oil companies are the way forward for the time being as price of crude is above 100$ and likely to stay there for the for the time being

This is in a clear bull uptrend. Unless it breaks below the uptrend channel....there's no reason to doubt it imvho..
your chart shows a shorter term channel but we also have a longer term channel which shows a target of around 300p
The best area to buy is near the bottom of the channel...so anything sub 200p looks to be a good buying opportunity ;) ;)
