How do you work out long or shorts on each pair please?
I have been following your posts this week and fascinated as I am learning a lot but often feel that I am 2 steps forward and 3 steps back as far as rewards go. Thanks, Geela

Hi guys/gals,

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, it's not the first time I've seen KI do this sort of thing, although this week was a little extreme (from memory)!

I've no real idea how he decides which way to go, I'm very much a beginner but glad to watch and try to learn if possible.

Hopefully he'll keep posting and show a constantly good track record :) I'm looking forward to it :)

 No pressure then KI ;)

regards

c d

Diver. i think jackozy was on about the call i made on usdjpy based on how i use my fibbs. Hopefully it saved him a few quid as he was about to go short on this pair, but what i posted may just have stopped him from doing so, i just warned him there was furthe highs to be reached.

As for the pairs trade, there is not a specific chart, just 10 pairs all boxed into a P+L trade. KI.

Ki,
Well it's trying b..... hard to break the support but, as yet, still holding. Now that's the kiss of death for sure :)
I notice Jackozy mentioned something about not liking the way you used fibs. I might have got that wrong so please don't go taking offence if I have but I don't recall seeing anything from you other than the progress reports you keep posting as to how many pips your trade has made. Which was the reason I posted the way I did the other day. Looks like I missed a post somewhere so please accept my apologies. IF you could enlighten me I would love to take a look and learn something. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply Ki,

I'll have to give this a go next week and let you know my results.

Just a quick question; do you spend each weekend going through all the charts of the different majors working out which buy / sell position you are going to take or is it a quick decision Monday morning based on your indicators eg MACD, EMA's etc

And come tomorrow evening at 5pm will you have closed out all the trades as per your plan ?

Thanks

Mike

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Dont spend any time at the weekend looking at charts if i can help it. I either place the trades before the close on fri evening or if i am trading heavy money i will place the trades at the open on sunday evening, to save on overnight charges.

Closure can come at anytime after 7.00am on the monday morning, depends what your happy with as proffit, but normaly it will run for 2 days min. Although these are major pairs , i could change them to either minor or exotic pairs for a bit of volatility. KI.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Sorry Mike just noticed this post. Some good questions there mate. Firstly, with live trades i will look for a 75 point proffit before i move my S/L to zero. I always like to monitor this type of trade, however i always go in with my eyes wide open to any losses, so i can trade this quite calmly.

I have seen this sort of trade go into minus by 600 odd points and then reverse itself in the same week. Taking proffit is important, and if you get to say 500 points and you are happy, then take it. I tend to look at the charts of the 2 strongest and the 2 weakest performing pairs to get a view to there potential limmits, the rest falls into line.

If you notice the GBPUSD it is losing at the mo 73 points, now silly as it may seem i want it to go to my S/L which is 100points, because if that hits then my whole total will rise whilst the 100pt S/L approaches. KI.

Great call mate. 30 points in profit so now its a free trade.
If that level does break then this can fly higher. So this worked great on a first touch basis trade.

Morning diver. Have had a look at what you are saying and it could be a good call. Ther should be no rush to get out until we see a signal on the 4 hour, maybe a rejection pin or a fakey. You will see on my chart (4 hour) that the long term resistance line has been pierced, so we are looking also at a close above this on the 4 hour. You will also note that the 23.6 is fast approaching on the bear fibbo.

I would hold any long positions till at least the 23.6, but at the same time monitoring this pair for a close below the resisstance on the daily. KI.

Money management is simple with something like this, the initial S/L is 100 pts per pair, which allows for any gaps from close on friday to open sunday. The most important thing as with any trade is to believe in what your doing, so you then need to believe in the way you trade. There are losing weeks, but if you trade this for 52 weeks your average would be somwhere in the region of 500 points per week or 26000 points per year, but lets say its a bad year and cut that in half, so only 13000 pts per year.

Remo has pointed this out on his iii cv page. Others like to just take and not get involved.

hi KI
Ive actually been helping people out free for nearly 4 years now on my private bb on iii.
Ive Never done hindsite trading ether as thats what most people do.
Ive got no problems with helping others as i know how hard it was when i started out and id rather help people from taking a massive loss like i did .No one helped me . I learned the hard way and it was a very expensive lesson to start with. If only some one nice helped me then . So thats why i help others to avoid what i had to go through.
I actually like helping as it makes me feel better ;)
Obviously you was not part of my private forum for the past 4 years. Most people on here are from my private forum and hence chartsview the website is created.
Ive freely helped a lot of traders out over the years and i even changed a few peoples life. Theres no price on that feeling. Hence why it does not bother me to help others.

everyone is different and one thing you need to realise is most people are beginners on here and they are here to learn from people that are willing to share. People dont have to share there knowledge as its a free world. But its a nice feeling.
I do understand where your coming from thou so no hard feeling .

. I am not over the period of a few weeks on a pbb reveal everything i have learnt. This may seem selfish but its not, its how life works. Go build a house spending many hours and many pounds building it, then let a complete stranger move in without cost. It does not happen.

Hi KI,

I think people want to know how you placed your trades, there's no clear explanation. you have taken 10 currency pairs and put that in your portfolio but haven't explained the buy and sell criteria for each currency pair.

If you can please explain this then we all can follow what you are doing and that would be a great help. At the moment it is unclear so we can't follow your posts.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Hi Ronnie.
Yes i know folk want an explaination how such a great trading method works, however i have over many years spent time, sweat and money becoming a very, very good fx trader. I am not over the period of a few weeks on a pbb reveal everything i have learnt. This may seem selfish but its not, its how life works. Go build a house spending many hours and many pounds building it, then let a complete stranger move in without cost. It does not happen.

I want to see people get involved with posting there charts and ideas, NOT have a few doing all the work while the rest live off of it.

I have posted these trades on my DEMO ACCOUNT as i cannot seperate these on my live account. The trades are clear enough to follow....if you can be bothered to look at the date trade opened, then just follow the trade. People on here will have to either believe i am a good trader or not. If you feel i am not a good trader then dont live trade my suggestions. If you feel i am a good trader and i know my stuff, then just copy these trades...i will not put anyone into a trade that i would not trade myself. KI.

Sorry if I misunderstand you but the clip2net link you posted is not easily understandably as to what your trade is, furthermore it is a 'DEMO ACCOUNT' and not a live trade. Why you cannot post a chart relative to forex is a mystery????

Diver you had the oppurtunity to enter the trade on friday night, which by the way is now up 680 points. There are no charts to post on this trade. There is no carrott on a string, just a simple 1 lump trade.

I am not impressed with how you have put your post across, so wont answer further to your post. The way i see it is that you are not a forex trader (as you have stated) however i am happy to sit back and let you educate me on charting, but dont be offended if i do not follow what you are saying as i already know that you plot your charts the same way as about 98% of other people, who tend to end up losing all there money.

I cant belive i have been critised for posting a live succesfull trade....Jeez KI PS as i type this trade has hit 700 points.

KI,

That's very good, however....

I believe there's quite a few people who would like to learn "How to do it"?

Many thanks in advance.

Only guessing here  but to me it looks like a weekly trade set!

So short AUD/USD, GBP/USD and USD/CHF  ;)

and long on all the others :woohoo: ;)

I'm sure KI will be along to confirm though !

Bit lost there KI. how does your system work??? :cheer:
eager to learn new things :) :) :)

thanks in advance

Ok I'll give it a go

'Once you have your trend (daily), use the 4 hour to enter on your pullbacks………....................The biggest plus to the 4 hour is your stop levels are normaly quite tight compared to your target price' ............ Quote on USD JPY by KI. So the losses will be minimal with some good profit on others!

Well ok I cheated but you got to listen to the advice given.
