I was aiming for slightly higher but the r:r was too good to pass up after the move up! Keeping a close eye on gold and silver this year, especially to see what happens if we get down to a 61.8% retracement of the recent move up. cheers M

Hi AdeMcG

Sorry I didn't respond previously - I was away on holiday in sunny Barbados and by the time I got home...

I use a Smith and Williamson Fund Gold and Resources B (gold and precious metals) which I have found performs well. I'm expecting a short term top in gold in the next week or 3 followed by a pullback while equities bounce to a lower high through March so March may be the time to buy more gold/gold funds??

I'll be looking forward to the next UBS report (thanks Monkeyz) to see what they make of the dramatic jump in gold and the equally dramatic drop in the S&P500. The 2 seem to be correlated at the moment along with the Euro/USD.
