This gapped above the trend-line today, possible trend change?? Looks like a move back to the highs is possible if it finishes above trend-line. This is from the share tips had a 123 low breakout recently.

I have a different view I don't think we are near a potential top....not that would start a downtrend anyway...I do expect a healthy correction and expect the Bull run to continue...I am taking cautious long positions only... I like riding a bull instead of trying to tame it :)
3 of my positions tullow oil, afren and dominos are already risk free and in profit...only united utilities is just above breakeven and thats because i took the trade today afternoon....and yeah i am a short term trader...i hold for a few days to maximum two weeks!

Hi redchilly
When the index is near a potential top it's more risker for a long term based trader to take new longs. Best time to take longs are after a bear market or near to an end to a bear market.
Obviously that's for a long term trader .
Short term is a different story all together. I always look to add during retracing as long as the main trend lines don't get broken.
