Hey TF, nice to hear from you again.
Hmm requests, I guess I would be looking at the UK dividend FTSE 100 plays that I banked profit on in early Jan.
ABF (Associated British Foods) I entered, got the divi and the special divi and exited at a modest profit, but the price action still confounds.
AZN (AstraZeneca) always appeals but it never gets to me target entry of £92, I wonder if I have a too aggressive target?
BME (European Value Retail SA) I have had my eye on for a while, I missed the 499p entry the other month, but I think if we are in for hard times this year (the R word) then this could do well
FRES ( Fresnillo Plc) I have had this on my watch list and a 460p entry target price, again might be too aggressive but it nearly reached it this week...I just didn't enter, would welcome thoughts on this one.
HBR (Harbour Energy) difficult to read as I wanted sub 220p entry, but the news (merger) and 360p fever drove it up, but I am in at 300p
The next three I class as similar investments (Insurance / financial ) dividend plays, but re-entry price targets I struggle with for each
AV. (Aviva) re-entry Target 375p
LGEN (Legal & General) re-entry Target 290p
PHNX (Phoenix Group) re-entry Target 450p
Next is my only US stock, "O" Reality income.
I got in when they announced an acquisition at $47 and sliced at $59, left a few of my $47 ride, and looking to re-enter. It pays a monthly dividend and I would love to be able to trade this to the point that I have enough dividend from it each month to buy a new share each and every month....talk about compounding
Before my wild card I am thinking about the Vanguard S&P500 index tracker (VUSA), I have a target entry price of £64.76 (50% Fib retrace from June 2022 low) but as always I think I am once again over optimistic or aggressive in this, and would welcome thoughts.
Wild card - Uranium, I should have jumped in back in March 2023, but I got distracted and you only have to see the chart to see why I kick myself daily. but Uranium spot tracking YCA (Yellow Cake) is one that got away, would love to hear your thoughts on the pull back targets you think could be interesting entries.
As always, love your thoughts and appreciate the time you take to deliver them, maybe one day we should have a ChartView Beer somewhere in this septic isle of ours
