Bj,

I don't follow this one but I see no open gaps on daily or longer timeframes.

Hi F4F, is there not a gap fill due at 15p from the original gap created at planning announcement? Seemed to bounce off 16p a few weeks ago leaving a small gap left to fill so could that impact the support levels - 16, 15, -12.9?

What are ur thoughts?

Hi Richard,

Hope you are well.

Medium term uptrend just about holding on. SP at support trendline and hanging on above 61.8% fib of move.

Yesterday broke out from short term retrace (confirmed by RSI).

Supports:
16
12.9 (ma200)
12
9.8

Resistance:
19,19.5 (ma's)
22.5
25.25
29.23

Looks precarious to me. If the red trendline breaks there could be a fairly rapid descent

Indeed Count. I advised a friend to bale out this morning (sell the news on the initial spike - not that there was, as you say, actually much of a spike! - and he did at 28 or so.
This will take a minimum of 5 years for any ROI to materialise and will likely be more like 6 or 7 years. And that's a looooooong time in investing. IMO it still might well never happen at all but that's a whole other and far longer story.
Cheers for the response and hoping all is going well with your own trading/investing.

Hi Earl,
This is a massive project requiring huge capex and fundraising (more than likely one of the ways will be by significant dilution), imo the smart money bailed at 27p+ this morning.
I think the sp will be heavily traded over the next weeks with significant daily volatility but generally move in a net downward direction.
I was a little surprised that it didn't even make a new high this morning though.
All just my opinion.

Good morning folks.

Given that planning approval has - somewhat surprisingly IMHO - now yesterday been granted for SXX's new polyhalite mine, where do folks here see this heading now trading range and timescales-wise?

TIA

This has just bounced off 14p, on the way to retesting Thursday's pin bar low of 13.5 ?
It would be much appreciated if anyone has the time to put up a P&F chart ?
The all important NYMNP planning meeting is on June 30th.

I know nothing about the fundamentals on this one and commented for charts sake only, but the 22.50 resistance was a strong area and the tweezer top failed. Showing strength but caution always on smallcaps.

The extent of the rise so far has been surprising to me, particularly this early because the results of planning permission meeting are not going to be announced until June 30.
If it makes it through 25p today then next resistance around 29/30p. However, a pull back is overdue. It's been a feeding frenzy so far and it's always dangerous to trade during these periods as price can move quickly.
In my view there is an excellent chance of Sirius getting approval, particularly because of current economic climate and Tories are keen to have anything they can hold up to demonstrate their Northern Powerhouse BS. If approval is given this is only the beginning of the start of a massive engineering project that will require huge fund raising.

F4T:

"Tweezer top today at 19.75. This is a strong reversal signal."

Made a little here buying and selling for a 2p profit a week or two ago, but now wishing I'd hung on in! Now watching to see if it can close at 23 or so and then might dip a toe again… BIG volume today. Any views and opinions from the crew here would be greatly appreciated as always.

Hi yeah that helps after revisiting your graph, thanks. When there are obvious points it's fine but doing down trends from a peak into the future with no obvious pikes for itvyobtouch is where I have got baffled up to now. Am I right they you have taken s vertical line up from the recent high to cross the horizontal resistance to mark the cross over of the trend?

Seems 19.5p didn't quite go today vit gave it a good try and believe another test will come soon. Can't see it breaking a double trend resistance though in the short term and certainly not on first attempt

Hey Bunkerjo,

I use price extremes as my method but this is just the way I do it, I know other people do it differently.

I use candlestick charts as this gives me the extremes of the price action and all I do is join the peaks of the tops for resistance and vice versa for the support.

For a more better understanding please check out the video I did on this:

chartsview.co.uk/learning/Drawing-trend-lines.html

Hope that helps.

Thanks Remo. On the chart how do you determine the angle of the downward slope from the high of 30 and is thus std across all charts? I never seem to get that bit right

resistance...22.35 (trendline),,,22.68, These two levels are close together so strong resistance.,,,,,,,,30,,,,36.75

support....17.32,,,,16.53,,,,11.52

there is no real resistance until 22.5 area so thats the level to watch for resistance.

Hi does anyone know of the reistanxe points (minor and major). Made pretty light work of 17p in the sand so far 19p hasn't seen the strong sell I expected. Volume is huge today though

Earl I don't know if you bought earlier today, there is resistance at around 16.75p on Daily (17p on weekly), that may be difficult to break. Needs to close above 17p for this run to continue in my view, rsi gettiing a little hot too. I'd consider banking profit and then observing to see if pushes on through 17p or pulls back a bit. I'm kicking myself not getting in sub 9p!

Just an aside in regard to my previous post, new lower low for xel this morning so has cancelled any immediate potential of 123 low. Need to wait for bottom.

As I posted at 8-41am today then.

(Granted maybe I should have added some supporting figures (might even have then got a response or two!) but figured you lot could rapidly take a look and pretty much immediately see for yourselves and was just quickly trying to bring it to your attention.)

1 = 14
2 = 11.5
