Eurovision drop outs premature

Thats very true Geela! The UK do so badly every year that they don't have to worry about hosting it!

It does show you the kind of times we're in that countries have to drop out because they worry about the cost of hosting the event.

I stopped watching Eurovision because it all got too political especially the voting! I though Terry Wogan was very funny as the presenter though.

Well that's one thing the UK won't have to worry about - the expense of hosting the competition the following year if they win!!!! Guess we'rein it for the duration! I used to like it when I was young but there were far fewer countries involved and I think a higher calibre of performer when you look at some big names that came out of the EUrovision - Abba, Bucks Fizz, Brotherhood of Man, Katrina and the Waves and there are probably others that I have missed...
