Keeping it simple - KISS - we need a Merkel not a Milly
Personally, I'm not convinced he even knows what day it is!

Fair enough I guess...
After all, most politicians are a cringe worthy bunch that make David Brent seem affable.
As part of my work, I recently found myself "advising" a Tory, Cambridge educated minister, and he couldn't do *anything*, and I mean anything without his advisers prompting him (doubtless at the behest of lobbyists).
That said, is there anyone here who doesn't think that energy bills (hell, why not include other assets that have been privatised) are way over the top in terms of cost vs benefit / value?
I guess it is often true that those who stand to lose the most, often do the least.
The trouble with "Ed", is that he's part of a Labour party that has long abandoned its stance of defending the rights of the majority (and let's face, the poor are the majority any which way you slice and dice it). Hence anything spouted by them will result in (justifiable) cynicism over-drive.
When asked about her greatest achievement, Thatcher paused then replied "New Labour". This tells you everything!
Anyway, onwards and upwards eh?
