Thanks Remo. It's the trial I was going to go for. I had actually considering getting a cheap windows machine to run it on, a spare laptop would be handy anyway for when junior wants to look at cbeebies.

i used to use it on my mac via VMware Fusion for the mac and my mac pro was about 3 years old
It runs ok .Its obviously best to run it off windows computer as thats what it was designed for.I actually bought a windows computer just to run metastock pro.
The best thing you can do is try the 2 months free offer and see how it performs rather than purchasing it.This way you can test it on different computers if needed. The good thing about metastock pro is your not limited to the one computer only . You can use it on different computers as its logging based. Very flexible.

Hi, considering getting Metastock however I know it isn't officially supported for Mac's. The official website say it should run ok on Intel machines but i'm using a 2 year old 13" macbook pro and it's not I3 so not sure if i'll encounter any problems.

I know there are several users running Metastock on a mac and wondered if anyone had any issues running it on lower spec machines?
